My buddy Brent Moore's road glide that I painted took 1st in modified stock touring at the Easyriders invitational show in Columbus this past weekend and my road king took 2nd in the same class. Bars are tacked. Still gotta make some adjustments on width (skinny them up a bit), height, riser angles and decide whether the bar will be straight or some pullback, but you get the idea. Fender strut is tacked and ready to be welded. Gonna shave the levers down a bit too.

DO YOU REALLY KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BOBBER AND A CHOPPER? I'M NOT ONE OF THOSE SNOBS THAT THINKS EVERYTHING HAS TO BE PERIOD CORRECT. I REALLY DIG THAT STUFF BUT I LOVE ALL STYLES (WITHIN REASON THAT IS), MAKES, AND MODELS. FUNNY THING IS THERE ARE AL0T OF "BUILDERS" OUT THERE THAT DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY'RE BUILDING. A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN THE CHOPPER CRAZE STARTED (AND IS STILL GOING AND MOST DON'T EVEN REALIZE IT) THERE WERE ALOT OF FOLKS THAT WOULD CALL ANYTHING STRETCHED, RAKED, OR EVEN JUST A LONG FRONTEND, A CHOPPER. It was exactly 2 years ago that i made my first cover which was the April '09 issue of Biker. I was very excited and at the same time, overwhelmed. The same bike made the cover of the 2010 Easyriders calendar. Fast forward another year and we are on the cover of Easyriders! I'm very honored to just have a bike in any magazine, but being in Easyriders, and on the cover, is something that i've always dreamed of. I've been reading it for over 20 years and this truly is an honor. With that said, I don't want to get too sappy, but i really appreciate all the love and support my family has shown, and for having enough faith to let me do what i love, for a living. Without them, it definitely would NOT be possible! I love you all and can't thank you enough. Also, thanks to all the friends and customers that have shown me so much support, it wouldn't be possible without you guys either....last but not least, big thanks to all the naysayers for giving me the drive to make all this happen..........

I've always been a big fan of the 60's and 70's style "frisco" bikes and have been dying to get my hands on a pre-evo unit and go to town. A good friend decided to let me do a little overhaul on his shovel. It started out as a 1981 harley davidson sturgis and the original owner tore the bike apart but passed away before it was ever put back together. There was an estate sale and another shop ended up with the bike, but didn't get the original frame for whatever reason....So, they transplanted what they had into a santee frame.......Enough with the history, fast forward a few years, and lets get to business...... We tore it apart yesterday, getting rid of all the excess. today i tacked together a set of pipes and i'm still playing with what lengths they are gonna be. Just to get an idea of how it would look, i tossed on an old wassell tank i bought off ebay a few years ago. Just finished putting down the Kustom Shop hot rod flatz on the "dyna fat bob transformation" sheetmetal. Can't wait to get this thing done.....Think it's gonna be my new favorite. Completed bike pics will be coming soon!
